Ok first off I like what I had done BUT I think it could be a bit larger. Overall I am satisfied with the final product, that being said I may have it enlarged by about 1 or 2 inches. The process: Had a local sign shop make a decal that goes over the entire surface of the panel and then they applied a second decal on top of that with the skull and cross bones. They have assured me that it all can be removed with NO PROBLEMS time will tell. there are a few wrinkles but they said when it warms up that stuff "should" go away. Looks good to me. The decal shop must be ametuers. Those wrinkles won't go away by themself, I know, I installed thousands of decals on semi-trailers and trucks over 7 years that I worked at a decal shop. The problem is flatening a flat decal over a surface that is curved. If you have a wrinkle, a low application of heat might "shrink" it to almost nothing, but I assume they already did that.

Looks Great!! What did they charge you for the decal? Do they ship? I gotta get one! Matches the shirt I got. Soren

They charged me 75.00 but that included the set up charge for the art work. I think it would be around 40.00 or so. I am going to go back next Thursday and have them make the skull a bit larger to cover more surface. I will ask what they would charge to have another one done. If you are interested you can send it to me and I can take it over or you can deal with them directly. Either way makes no difference to me.

I think it looks great and it adds a sinature to your scoot! My team motto is also the Jolly Roger so I have often thought about doing the same thing, but I was thinking siver to match the chrome (what I have left not blacked out) or just subdued black, so you couldnt see it unless you were looking for detail. Great work though!
Best looking black girl around!
2004 SM-spokes, solo seat, lowered rear, 14 in apes, bobber rear fender, no front fender. Flat black all the way around.

That looks cool Bluespoke but it's a standard sticker that I see for sale here and there. I actually looked at that for a template for the carving on Wendys sprocket cover before I came up with the design I ended up using.

A couple years ago, I had a guy make a chrome Speedmaster decal. I havent put it on, because I dont want to just cover up the old one. I want to do it right, some day, I'll have to get it repainted. There is several coats of clear on the stock decal making it impossible to just peel it off.
