I'm running a ME880 MARATHON 170/80 B15 (15") M/C 77H right now on the speedmaster(stock) can I get away with putting a 180/70 B15 M/C 76H on the same rim without problem?  The next size up is 200 and I'm sure that won't fit.

I run a Metzeler 180 on my TA. Fits fine.

Exactly how wide is the rear rim on the speedmaster? metzeler says ME880 bias-ply 170/80 measured rim; 4" required rim 3.50-5.00.......180/70 measured rim 5" required rim 4.25-5.50..........200/70 measured rim; 5.5" required rim 5.50-6.50  Nevermind In found it 06' brochure OEM Alloy 15 x 3.5 in.

BC makes a kit for the 200 wides, etc. Don't like the aluminum,chrome and spokes. Frank said something about the ego trip rims that are up and coming to accept wider tires-are these from BC also? Speed.

Thanks Frank,I'll check into it, haven't heard of that vendor before but I'll be looking.  I can't seem to get on to the Egotrip website. That sounds funny doesn't it.
