I was paging though American Iron today and seen an ad for Progressive Ins. There is a photo of a Speedmaster laing on its side and gremlin running away. I think maybe I will change Insurance company.

My Ins. from Pekin is 240 a year for full coverage,(boy did that pay off, thanks to mr. deer) 60 a year for liability, but My insurance may be cheaper per because of all the other rides I have insured with them.

I've got Progressive and it's about $28 a month. They've been Johnny-on-the-Spot with both claims that i had. Even though both of my accidents were someone elses fault including one who was uninsured, they didn't leave me hanging on anything! I ended up switching my car over to them as well when the company I had for home and car insurance tried to rape me after moving to CT.

Motorist Ins full coverage, $98 for six months. The rate stayed the same after my collision with a Deer last September. And the service could not have been better.
But I have my Auto, & Homeoweners insurance with them. So I get a discount. Also the area you live in will affect the rate.

I used to be with progressive for about three years. Loved em. Had any trouble and they were johnny on the spot about it. The all of a sudden it seemed like they went to h&ll. They hiked my rates, almost double, without notification at all. Couldn't explain it, but nobody would do anything about it either. I dropped em. Later, tried getting insurance on my bike. They quoted me one rate, which was very reasonable, and then three months later changed it and could offer no explanation for it except to say that their rates had changed. Talking with them was a major hassle to. Lots of hold time and dropped calls. Thought I'd give em a second chance, but definately will not switch again.

I had Progressive on my America initially. The rates were good for the coverage. I changed to Foremost (through AARP) which has even lower rates and more coverage for add ons/mods AND includes roadside towing (hauling) as part of the coverage. You have to be a AARP member, I think, to get it.

Nope, Neither Habuba (my hubby Bob) or I belong to AARP (wouldn't want to either) and we have Foremost. It is approx. $500 per year for 3 Triumphs, full coverage, mods included, and in California. Others wanted to charge us $1000 to $1500 per year just for me because I am a new rider.

Progressive went the extra mile for me when I was broadsided in my wrecker. The cops tried to hang me for it,was found not guilty and the cop got a good tongue lashing from the JP for charging me in the first place. They went after the other people even though all I had at the time was liability.
