that is going to be a huge mess to clean up!!!!!!!!! I work in a truck shop that was flooded with 3.5 ft of water. We had over 50 guys working for a week cleaning mud from walls, floors, service pits. offices ect. plus another 2 weeks draining all the fluids in the trucks and equiupment. We had dead fish in the shop with about 2 inches of river mud, and that really smelled bad! The only good thing was all of the personal tool boxes and most of the office equipment was moved before the flood so it was saved---------good luck with that mess---------cliff

Been through many a industrial flood. They're so regular here that we actually have written evacuation and installation plans for equipment within the flood plain. We usually come out ok with little damage these days but have been caught with our pants down several times. Each is a ugly mess no matter how well prepared. I feel for anyone who has to deal with that.

i can really feel for ya'll up there in that mess,,, at least it was warm [hot] when katrina waxed our butts 2 years ago, to add cold weather to the mix is a kick in the seat. i can live without a/c,, i don't like the cold. i think about some of the members here that live in montana and canada,,, they are tougher than i am. they really have to be hardy... anyway,,best wishes to ya'll soren.

some people are like slinkies, they serve no purpose, but, they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Dayum, what a mess. Too bad there wasn't a way to pipe all that down to North Georgia eh? How long before poor Chy has to quit taking showers and sippin' sweet tea?

Won't be so long for any of us in the tri-state area as we're 24" shy of normal rain accumulation; Tenn has already closed two of the three rest areas between here and Nashville to conserve water...the only one open is on the river. Doesn't make me want what Chehalis is getting, I'd rather have a little at a time.
