I installed these yesterday:

I disconnected the stock idiot lights and ran the wires into the headlight bucket, drilled the 2 holes, and soldered up 2 of these:

Radio Shack only had red and green. I wanted to have an oil pressure light (Red) and the State of Texas requires a high beam indicator (green). I don't care about having a high beam light so I left the neutral light wired up inside the headlight bucket and after I pass my inspection this month I may swap the wires and have the green light be my neutral light.

Total cost? Around $8 for the LEDs and a few minutes of my time.

Sweat's running a SV650 front end on his tricked out Bonnie...

Hey Sweatmachine, that's a cool and great way of dealing with the problem at hand. If you wanted to install more lights and/or colours, I found a really nice looking LED housing (about the size of a 1/4" bolt) that come stock in either red or green also. But I found that the housing pulls apart very easiely and then I was able to insert any standard sized LED I wanted, I used them on my '66 Fargo. I used clear lensed LED in Blue, Red, and 2 Greens for High Beams, Oil, and Turns. I found them in a local electrical shop in my home town so not sure where in TX you could find them, but it's an idea.
