I was looking at the new indicator from HD for the nightsomethingorother.
They are LED ones and are nnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiicccccccceeee.
But the price isn't. And there's no guarentee they'll work The local HD Stealer has even tried to retro it to an earlier nightwhatever and said it can't be done. However I'm not convinced that they can't be put on a Triumph, just the £160 each side that's putting me off.then £20 for the stalks, and they say you need a relay unit at £150 or so...but I don't believe that. Just a resistor should do it..
Maybe the next time I have a good month at work... or 3...buy bits as a long term project.

Gina, I agree with the guys, it could be done with a rewire, might need some resistors and a possibaly a new flasher unit. There are bound to be cheaper combined LED tail and indicator units out there than the standard HD units. If not soon and they won't need resistors.
I still have to find the price of the Triumph unit as well, best to sit down for that as well.

Me too, I will have to have a closer look and see if it would replace our light next time I am at the my dealer, that picture was taken at the NEC. I think the number plate would look better down there. If it fits It would just require a rear light of some sort to cover the holes left by the original indicator / plate holder, meyby even just move up the standard light. I dont realy want to start filling in holes and getting it resprayed just yet.
Sounds like my next project after I finish the light bar. (Just back from chrome plating and looking good, hope to have it all working this weekend)

Gina you don't need to rewire just use a load equalizer. And like I mentioned to the other members on this site, if you see a part from HD that you would like, just contact me. I saved Gibson(Old member) 25% on a new set of headers when he's ready to buy.......Angelis

You can use a kuryakin run/turn/brake controller to make it work like the harley nightster without a seperate brake light. Did that with my silver bullets.Look at my cut rear fender post in customs.
