I took my bike to work today, as I am in retail and couldn't find a parking spot anyway at the mall I work at. I decided to go for a longer ride after work, making my way to an ice cream shop in Santa Cruz where they make their own ice cream. My wife loves their pumpkin ice cream, so I bought her some. As I am leaving, a man walks over to me and asks about my bike. "Is that a Triumph, or does it just say it is?" I tell him it's a new Triumph and he then tells me about a bike he used to have, a 60 something he said. As he was wrapping up his story, he asks me for money. He was obviously homeless. He then asked if he could take my bike out sometime. Erring on the side of caution, I gave him some change, and rode off. I don't usually give people change, but the Triumph story sold me. Ah how I love a good Triumph story.

Oh man!! I'm going to jail!!

Where is your heart of compassion , I mean , you could have let him ride off with your scoot while you and the wife sat and finished off the pumkin ice cream ! He would have brought your bike back ,.....................................................

Or, you could have been crafty and let him borrow your bike, But not until after you promised him ice cream when he got back. Always take out a little insurance with someone you don't know. Ice cream will do it! (I wish this dude had showed up to borrow my ex-wife years ago; I would have run like ****** AND kept his ice cream!)Ohhhh, now thats mean.!
