I read a PR release about the Adjure Diamond Cut Headlights and am curious about them for my '07 America. Adjure Web Site The performance of the stock lamp just doesn't seem that great. For the low beam, it seems as if the light should be brighter. And for the high beam it seems as if there's more light spilling onto the ground than is projecting forward. Can anyone comment on these lamps or recommend others? Thanks!

The Sylvania Silverstar sealed beam is far better than stock. I had that for a while, then I bought this one. I opted for the 100W bulb, had it about a year. Better beam pattern than the Silverstar.

I got this one from KC International It's a stretched light with visor. Had to make a mount since it would hit the frame if not moved forward. Much better than stock and about $100 the next smaller one is about $89. So bright Wendy asks if I have the high beam on when I don't.

Check out this site (Thanks Mike[EADGBE] ): Custom Dynamics I like the tri-bar. This links to the headlight page. Check out the whole site. Good selection and prices . The limitations of the stock lights are due to the bulbs. Replacement works wonders.

Ihave an Adjure on my bike with the tri-cut. I like it tons. Simple mod to mount it. Had to cut a hole in it to keep the wiring setup the way it was done stock. Easy for me since I have access to the machines at work but might be a little tricky if u to try to do it in the garage with standard tools. Probably doable but just a little on the tricky side. Here is a photo from the 06 GA rally i think right before we went through the Dragon on the way down.

Guess I should have said what I did with my wires. I moved all the wires that used to be in my headlight and they are now under my tank where the AI used to be. There was no cutting or slicing required except the 3 wires to hook the headlight up.

I've been wondering - If you go to a smaller diameter headlight and keep the connectors in it, does it need to be the elongated style to provide enough room?
Said Molly to James, that's a fine motorbike.

I would think some smaller connectors would be in order with a smaller headlight. Not 100% sure because i haven't put a smaller headlight on but it is pretty tight in there. As a side note, after I cut the hole in the headlight there are some sharp edges that, to my knowledge, wires are not very fond of. I simply filed the edges as best I could. Then I went to the local auto parts express and bought some of that sticky chrome edge door molding. You'll see some people have used this stuff on the lower edges of their tank. Cut it to length and then very very patiently bent it to fit around the edges of the new cut. Here is a link to some of the photos all put together. Completely forgot I had done this for a previous thread. Pictures are a little cluttered but I think you'll get the idea. If you need anything more let me know and maybe I can meander out to the garage and add some more photos if that'll help. Headlight Install
