i think there 12.5"s ,i was thinking about them before i bought the 440s(great shocks ,shite 2up tho) . i ,m sure i seen the size on one of the rocket III forums ,possibly the trat.net one .why you interested Ray, got a handle on a set .

I was too, first thing to enter my head was the people I saw struck by lightning thise year at to seperate events. I used to enjoy lightning but now it kinda freaks me out.

And the kind of shocker I believe you mean would violate the aup.

We have the Hagons on Wendys bike. Lowered it 2". We like them and when you buy you specify the spring strength and dampening. I didn't know what I wanted so I described the roads and weight of rider to him and he hit it dead on the first time and we are very happy with them. Others will say Progressive are better,I don't know about that since I never had those.

I've got Hagon Nitros which provide superb comfort as they not only have adjustable pre-load which is standard in all shocks, but also 10 point dampening adjustment. Also like Ian mentions, the springs you get match what type of riding you do most of so as to maximise easy adjustment. Of course if I then go two up I adjust my pre-load accordingly.

What I really liked about these shocks though were the components which are just about as good as they come.


Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.
