Rear Brake Pedal - Too far for this short rider!

Just got my '07 America and it's a bit of a stretch to press down on the rear brake pedal. My legs are short (29" inseam). I can reach the pedal just fine, but it takes some extra stretching to press my toe down all the way.
If the top part of the pedal extended more towards the rider, or could be made thicker in some way (an inch would probably be right) then it would be a whole lot easier to use.
All suggestions gratefully accepted - thanks!

Martin, there is "some" adjustment to that brake pedal. That threaded rod coming out of the master cylinder, if you break those nuts loose and lower that bracket on the rod it will bring the pedal more upright thus closer. The other idea is to bend back that tab the rubber pedal is mounted on, drill a hole in it and mount a fat shifter knob onto it. Make sense? Those pedals have some kind of magical makeup to the metal, they seem to have this mystical quality to bend into all sorts of shapes and configurations and then able to bend them back to original without breaking. Don't ask how I know.

There is a threaded adjustment where the pedal attaches to the master cyl. I adjusted that out for Wendy and she is 5'1". She does have floorboards too though.

i adjusted my brake pedal up, after installing floorboards,so as to not lift my foot so much to reach it. he also could install one of those chrome brake pedal covers, to extend it a little. [any thing to put a little "shine" on]

My simplistic suggestion is a common rubber pedal cover combined with a rod adjustment to move it closer to your foot.
