The 2nd one looks rediculous to me. Seated way too high and highway pegs almost above the engine!

seriously, this reminds me of a "deep" conversation we all got into after a club meeting the other day...it used to be about what YOU built as opposed to what you "bought" i.e. OCC and the like....but of course....that was back when we thought making $10/hr at your job ment you had arrived !....
Some of the "junk" we built..it is a wonder we were not permanantly hurt......those were the days

You got that right! The way I butched front ends together or hacked and rewelded frames the wheels I used that were never intended to do what I made them do! Slap a blown motor back together with used parts that had worn out so I could ride. I did some crazy stuff in my early 20s.

Highway pegs? Back then, bikers were tough and rode with ourr feet on the pipes!

i like looking at this old stuff now i was only about 8 years old when most of these covers came out but these are the bikes that made me want one when i heard one or groups of them coming down the road i would run over and watch it/them go by and man how cool is that
