This is my bike... and i was wondering with my set up of the bags sissy bar etc would look good with Brents lower profile seat instead of the stock. I would like to lower my butt down some into the bike but it may look weird if not on a solo set-up Opinions please???? Steve

yes, it would look weird. unless you went with the low pro pillion seat too and a smaller sissy bar. all together that's like what 900? 1000? not worth it.
either lower the shocks or cut out some of the seat and rewrap it.
i've got the low pro seat on now and it only works solo. if the ol' lady wants to ride i switch to the gunfighter. there's my $.02.

I run the Low pro with bags for travel. I'll post pics when I get home. I liked it, but I have leather bags, not the hard bags that you have. When using the bags I also mount a fender rack for extra storage.
Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

I think that it would look ok if you get a seat that is on newspeedmaster.com and then replace the backrest with a grab rail. I'm sure you can have one made for short money. That way you just unbolt the backrest when not being used and just pop the grap rail on. something like this minus the rack:

Heres an idea...take a picture of your bike that looks similar to this picture from newspeedmaster.com... Get a picture of your bike and email it to me and I'll photoshop that seat on your bike so you can see pretty much first hand what the finished product will look like. Now when I say similar i mean basically the same angle viewpoint, you can take a picture of your whole bike or maybe a little closer in..but it doesnt have to be just a picture of a seat. Theres also this picture too

IMO, the corbin seats have the LOOK of a lower profile seat, at least more than stock. Maybe look into that for yourself. I have one, and it definitely sits lower than stock. Plus it looks good solo or two up.

I tend to agree with Dave on this one. The Corbin definitely makes you feel like you sit lower than stock. Because of this you feel more part of the bike ie sitting in it, rather than on it if you know what I mean. Also the Corbins have come down in price considerably lately, so the costs aren't so inhibitive as they once were My .001 cents worth

Nice looking bike Dave. Of course, I'm a sucker for chrome, wire wheels, and the like.

I like the Corbin....but its so expensive now. I tend to agree that the low profile seat would be tooooooo low and not look right. Has anyone seen or used SPENCER seat mods....can lower and add more comfort cheaply. Someone else posted it somewhere around here the other day... http://greatdaytoride.com/
