Has any one done this? There is a guy in Finland that has it on his bike but haven't seen anyone else do this, any reason? Can it harm the chain? Does the "68" stuff fit our bikes? Looks like it might fit, going in today to compare the Bonneville to the speedmaster sprocket covers and will report but from pics looks like the bolts line up......

You may have to grind off some material from the bottom rear of the Bonneville cover. This doesn't show afterward.
You will also have to replace 2 or 3 mounting bolts with longer ones. Your Triumph dealer can help you here.

I've got the T-100 cover but I've been thinking about grinding the ridges off my stock cover (which has been done by others) and drilling a pattern of holes into it (haven't seen that yet). I don't really like the drilled T-100 cover from Triumph's sixty8 line.

I ground the ridges off of Wendys and polished it,then cut a tribal pattern in it wrapped around a rose. I haven't had a chance to get pix of it yet.
