I was going to post this in the any sugestions thread as an update but I figured more people would see it as it's own thread.

I did a bit more research on different de-bluing products and decided to try Blue Buster because it comes with an attachment for a power drill and I'm way too lazy to not use something power assisted. The directions couldn't be more simple, put a quarter size dab of the gel on the pad, hold the pad to the pipe and pull the trigger of your drill. At first I tried to do this with the header still on my bike but soon found that to be a bad idea because the attachment slings a bunch of the gel and it gets every where, also the attachment is fairly large so with the pipe on the bike it's hard to get everywhere you need to get at. So I took the pipe off and took it to my motorcycle shop (my spare bedroom) to go to work. It took a couple of hours to complete the job but anyone who's seen my bike will tell you, I had a lot of work to do. All in all I'm pleased with the results, the Blue Buster did exactly what it said it would and now my headers match.

Good tip. I've been "Blue Job"ing my Bonnie but its a slow go at an inch at a time. What did it set you back?

There must be a joke in there somewhere but the IUP gets in the way! the name coupled with going slow an inch at a time.

$24 from JP Cycles

Here's the link

More expensive than Blue Job but since it comes with the drill attachment and saves a boat load of time I think it's worth it.

Hey Tim,
Glad to hear you had good luck. I know when I was looking for something to clean up my headers, it was hard to make a decision with all the products. I spoke with another member here and he recomended Bomsaway . I also used a small buffing wheel on a drill worked out great.
