I'm not a fan of the floorboard look. But, after doing a search on here and reading about them, I'm thinking about making the switch from pegs to boards. My normal, most comfortable riding position on this bike is with the balls of my feet on the pegs and my feet parallel to the ground. On long rides, this gets tiring after a while. I'd also like to be able to move my feet around a little more.
I'm looking at the Triumph boards, as well as the ones from Rivco. Is the mounting angle adjustable on either of these(parallel to the ground vs. tilted up at the front of the bike)? And, besides having to adjust it for more room, is there any problem using the stock shifter with the floorboards?
Thanks,
Will

Go for the boards, I like the look of the Triumph ones, neither offer adjustable angle, but it makes little difference. After a few miles of getting used to them, you will love, them. I will never go back. Stock everything works with them and you can get some weight off your butt and on your legs.. do they make a mid peg America? no ...... I think it is called something else. Ride safe!

Thanks guys. I'm going to go with the Triumph boards and see how they feel. It will be an early Christmas present.

IF you are interested in it. I am getting ready to get my bike with its 1200 in free stuff. I was thinking about getting the boards and then offering them to whomever wanted them for a discounted price. I think they list for 315.00, how does 250.00 sound? My plan is to get the bike next Friday and I am pretty sure the dealer has them in stock. just let me know if you are interested in them. Peter

I put the Triumph floorboards on my bike in September but took them off today because they are not adjustable and the angle aggravated an old ankle injury. If you would be interested in a slightly used pair for half price let me know. They are in great shape...all the hardware is there complete with instructions.

Are they gone yet? I'm interested in trying. Half price is a whole lot better than full price.
