troegs is a brewery in Harrisburg that offers tours and samples I just saw on PCN (shows things in PA). Anyone ever try it? They have one called The Trogenator and also have an oatmeal dark beer that looks really good on TV. Throgenator is whats actually printed on the label of that beer.

Never heard of that one, but I'd like to get over to Stoudt's, not far from Lancaster.

Never tried Troegs, but I'm always game for a local brew. I had a "Mystic River Cream Ale" up in CT Thursday night that was suprisingly tasty.
We talked about a ride/tour to the Yuenglings plant last year. We should definitely plan a ride out there for next year. Are you anywhere near the plant? (Pottstown or Pottsville, I always get them mixed up)

I live about 15 miles from Pottsville, they still offer the tours, but they don't let you sample like they used to. Some problem about liability. It used to be you could sample any or all of their brews on the tour, but now you are very limited. If people are interested I could find out exactly what the new tours entail and post before the weather breaks next spring and you can make a decision on a ride. It snowed here yesterday, not much but the kids were excited about the first snowflakes falling.

We just went this summer and they let you sample and weren't stingy either.I am a little over an hr from there but I am always up for a ride weather permitting. I think I might want to go to Troegs and do that tour too
