Mothers but do not use the Aluminum polish on Chrome or plastic because it is abrasive and will scratch your chrome finish.

Shameless plug only because it's true. 210 Polish/Cleaner for your windshields and eye glasses. Made for Polycarbonate and Lexan and all other plastics. This is great stuff!

My vote is for Mothers three part system. It's Pre-wax Cleaner, Sealer Glaze, and Carnuba wax. The whole process is a little time consuming but if you want you're paint to look great I don't think you can beat it.

For everyday washing, I use "take it off wet or dry" works on the same princpal as s100 but does not leave white streaks if you dont pressure wash it off. for detailing, i use Dawn dishwashing liquid to wash. It strips the wax from the paint and makes it ready to accept new polish and wax. and use the Zaino Brothes system to get a deep shine and seal it in with their wax.. As for the chrome, i use S100 total finish restorer.. this stuff is the best i have ever used, on chrome or polished parts it makes it shine. For the leather (no not your seat but like saddle bags) I would use Doc Baileys, it is realy good and works like a champ. For plastic and what have you,, remove it, cant feel the rush of the wind behind a wind screen!!!!!!

I just shifted to Autoglym products. http://www.autoglym.co.uk/enGB/product-quickselectorBike.asp
The Super Resin Polish is great. They advise "Use Autoglym Super Resin Polish on good condition brightwork and other metallic surfaces," I use it on paintwork, chrome and plastic chrome. Only thing you can't use it on is plastic and rubber. Expensive... YES, but if you buy the 1 liter it works out a lot cheaper by volume than the small bottle. The instant bike shine is pretty good as well.

For regular cleaning you can't beat Honda Cleaner. I use Black Magic for wax.

Both: polish to bring out the shine & wax to keep it that way.
I'm partial to Meguiars, but the Mothers stuff is probaby just as good. Zaino is the product most talked about on the net. Never tried it, but the 'Vette folks rave about it.
From Megiuars, their Professional (Mirror Glaze) line I use:
#7 Show Car Glaze
than top with:
#26 High Tech Yellow Wax

Oh yeah baby that's the stuff. Plus, I use Meguiars Swirl remover to clean up those annoying light surface scratches that are unavoidable. For chrome, I'm addicted to Germany's Wenol metal polish, it's truly fantastic.
