I just spoke with my dealer today and put a deposit down on a beautiful 2007 blue and white america and will hopefully getting it on saturday. I feel like a kid on christmas morning! Finally, it's gonna be in my garage. 
It's like chasing a race horse on steroids!!!

Matt, congrats on the America! Hopefully it wont be too much torture for you seeing it parked in that garge most of the winter (unless you live in one of those year round riding states).

go get some sheet rock screws, 2x4's and some duct tape.. It is the fix it all kit not sold at the dealer!!!!

In regards to the deal i got, I paid real close to sticker price, $8100. However, I did not pay for the freight or setup charges, it was $8100 out the door. And of course I got the $1200 in Triumph accessories (windshield, tall backrest with luggage rack, and off road long slash cut pipes). I ended up buying at Baxter Cycle in Marne, Iowa. No complaints whatsoever. Other than I don't get my bike until Saturday.

lets see if it is ready at 9am when the doors open, that means it ready now. Just sitting there with no one to ride it... Is that any way to treat a new bike? To make it up to her you should bring it to me and I will hook it up for you lol..

I went through what you are going through less than 2 weeks ago - same color and everything! I also got the Triumph long slash pipes - man you have good taste  I have loved the bike, and just wish I had better weather to ride it. Even though you can't go crazy for 500 miles, it is still an enjoyable bike. I have about 270 left to go before I am at 500. Let us see your beauty when you get her!

jsdugan, your taste is impeccable as well! I see your pics of the bike, love the cemetary background. I'm very pleased with the TOR's, was worried they wouldn't be loud enough, but they're perfect as far as I'm concerned. Also, it was pretty cold here this morning, so I chickened out and hauled the bike home in a pickup... I know what you're gonna say, so I'll just say it for everyone "I'm a sissy". There, I said it.
