What a bunch of a-holes. Ive seen the streetfighterz perform on closed streets,and thats fine, but I cant stand when they do it on the open road. I was riding on the highway the other day and saw one going the opposite direction riding a wheelie in the fast lane. There was a state trooper right ahead of him on the on ramp, but I dont know if he saw the moron to ticket him. These guys on the sport bikes already have a bad public image because they are usually young and wreckless, this wont help their image. As for the drivers statement, cant say I've never heard that before, seems like alot of people would like to throw something at them. I'm just saying there is a place for everything, and the highway isnt one of them.

Yep. If they want to put only themselves in danger in a Closed-course situation, I say Go For It. I saw the Streetfighterz in St Louis once. They had a waist-high fence blocking off their play area. More than once they almost came through the fence, putting the on-lookers at high risk. I had to take my daughter and leave because I felt they were not as in control as they needed to be.

Stunt riding like racing is best left on the track and off the highway. That said, where the heck do you carry a brick on a sport bike? Sounds like an initiation rite to me and a poor choice made by a moron. Odds are he'll be an organ donor before long.

I was driving on the jersey turnpike the other day and this dude was trying to do wheelies in the fast lane right in front of me in my truck. I understand the thrill of wanting to do it on a busy road like that, but this guy sukked...he kept trying to get the bike up and he'd ride it for a bit and then slow down when he came back down. He had me doing 55 behind him...which is unheard of on this road.
I just say if you wanna go kill yourself on the turnpike, you better be freaking good at riding wheelies and dazzle my a$$ before you get run over.

Seems like someone should remind them that riding a motorcyle is dangerous, esp with cars and trucks on the road.

I can't help wondering what the other half of the story is. SUV and minivan people often tend to ignore all other traffic and drive rather dangerously and then start sniveling and denying when someone calls them on it.

Good point.
The other day I saw a lady in a minivan cut off a pickup truck. The pickup driver gunned it, went around the van, and...returning the favor...cut the van off.
When the woman in the minivan got a taste of her own medicine she blared on the horn and gave a humped shoulder and raised hand look as if to say to the pickup driver "what the heck was that all about?"

I've thrown my helmet(smart...I know) at an SUV before, after he tried to run me off the road several times.  I'm sure there's more to the story.

I love rididng onthe back tire just as much as the next guy. But doing it in traffic is stupid.. I take my litle sport bike out and ride in empty parking lots, or on dead end streets where I will only put my self in danger.. But if it were not for idiots like that I would not have a job

Just how are they pinning this on motorcyclists? Cuz the 16 year old kid in a SUV wasn't paying attention and hit another truck? Gimmie a break...
I rear ended an older couple when I was 17 -cuz I was looking for a brush in the floorboard -cuz there were hot chicks in the car beside me. Guess that was Clairol's fault for not providing a dash mounted hairbrush holder for the truck...
The drive-by media sukks... and thats all I gotta say.
