Bonneville America Forums Forums Technical Forums General Tech 440 shock full droop ???

I have been using a set of 440's and man do they ride well, but when the suspension extends all the way, like over a speed bump, the shocks feel like it is a metal to metal contact. It really harsh. Do these not have some rubber stops or something to cushion when they go full out?

Bryan, there is one for fully compressed but you would have to ask Progressive if there is one internal in the cartage. Did you get the new cap on. Phil

Mine act the same, it's almost like they snap back. I attributed it to the HD springs on mine. I'll swap them out this winter for some standard duty springs. Which springs do yo have?
