Has anyone ordered from Arlen Ness? I am looking at changing my mirrors and have ordered the Bellacorse mirrors but I don't like that they are flat glass. The Ness mirrors say they come with adapters for most cruisers and Harleys. I like the look of these http://shop.arlenness.com/store/images/products/handlebar_acc/alternative_die-cast_6_b.jpg but not sure about the fit. His site says all his mirrors come with convex glass. Anyway, thanks for any feedback from you more experienced members here. Worse comes to worse...I can order them and send them back if they don't fit.

I haven't heard of anyone getting these yet. Everyone here should take a turn being the guinea pig at least once.

I'm running a pair of the short stem Ness Stealth mirrors. They're not an exact fit and require a spacer but look great. I have them mounted to a Buckhorn Bar from Flanders. Youm can get an idea of the profile from the image in my album.

I’ve got Arlen Ness mirrors on my bike. Although they are not the ones in your photo, mine sit a little lower to the handlebar. I didn’t order them from Arlen Ness, my dealership carried them. They did come with several adapters, which fit the bike. It took a little while to get used to them, but I love em now….

Hey Fred...mine are ordered and should be here on Tuesday they say. Are you having any vibration problems like the others on here with their Kuryakyns? Also, was it easy to figure out which of the adapters we need for our Triumphs. I understand they ship a few and you try them out. Thanks for any pitfalls you may help me avoid.

I have the Arlen Ness Rad Teardrop mirrors on my bike, they came metric sized, bolted right up...kinda small, but you can actually see more than you would expect. Its tough looking cool sometimes haha. Check out my gallery if you want to see them. Kinda pricy though, over a hundred for the pair, got em through J and P cycles.

Guess you got lucky. My mirrors came in and they have only 2 bolt and nut choices with no spacers provided. Guess I need to fab a spacer up or return them. Have to get creative to make anything fit our bikes right it seems.

I thought the Triumph Adapters or Adapters from Ma's Cycle were the only ones that would work on a BA or SM. The metric adapters for the Jap bikes will not work. What kind of adapter are you using? I hate the factory mirrows as they are just stems !!!!!!! Also its hard for me to pay $18.55 per adapter plus shipping. You wind up with about $45.00 in just two adapters.

I am running the Arlen Ness Teardrops too. They fit perfect with the hardware they came with. I get a little vibration when the throttle is wide open. They don't vibrate at all when just cruising.

The adapters that came with my Ness mirrors did not look good at all. I also had a pair of the BellaCorse mirrors around and ended up using the adapters and bolts from my BC mirrors to mount my Ness mirrors. I do not recommend this method, as now I have nice BC mirrors sitting in my garage collecting dust, but I LOVE my Ness mirrors. No vibration either.

To stop the vibration you need the adapters from Brent.
They are $18.95 each but they will stop the vibration.
You can probably also purchase them from a dealer.
