I have been getting so many questions about the chromed out America in my album... I thought I should address them globally here, rather than respond to everyone.
This is not my bike...it's a bike which was customized by my dealer...
Ths America was stripped to the frame, had it's swing arm and forks chromed out by a plater in Dover, NH.
The controls, bars, mirrors and grips are all Harley, which have been milled to fit metrically.
All the work/assembly was done by Greatbay Motorcycles of North Hampton, NH.

It sure is pretty though. Can we come over and see it at your house?
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Mikey - I'm heading over to Greatbay Motorcycles tomorrow to get 500 mile service on my bike as my local dealer isn't the greatest.
Do you know who in service worked on this chromed bike ? I just purchased a Carlini bar and am looking for a mechanic to do all the internal wiring and install steel braided cables.

Hey Britrover.. do me a favour if you can, hang around when they do the handlebars and take photos.. do a write up of how the whole install goes - would love to host it on my site (and very likely put a set of carlini bars on my ride too). By the way, which bars did you decide on?

Hi Sandman - I actually saw the custom chrome bike in person at the dealership and the bike looks sweet indeed, one of a kind.I am sticking with the Carlini super sweep.
Your website has tons of good info and I'll try and take detailed pictures when the install is being done.
