I'm very close to purchasing an '07 America. With the dealer ready to give some on the price, and Triumph's $1,200 accessory offer, it seems like a good deal right now.

Does anyone know the difference in features and looks between the two model years?

Thanks!

Hiya, Martin. Briefly, 08 has new tank shape and new colours. That's about it. You may hear talk of fuel injection on some 08's but that doesn't apply to the US models.

In the U.S. the only difference is the tank. It is completely different than before. From what I have been told we will see F.I. here in the U.S. on the America and Speedmaster in July.

In my opinion, the 2007 model is the one to get.

Bought the '07 today. Very happy! It was a a perfect fall day and the ride home (30 mile) was a great mix of country and city driving to get used to it (and to learn to shift again after 30 years).
