I seem to be getting an extreme degree of wear out of my original front pads. Pulled one caliper off this morning to look closely and still an awful lot of meat on there for 30K
I use both front and rear 70/30 or so. The rear pads go fast.
Is this unusual? (30K miles on the fronts and still lots left.

I have over 20,000 miles each on two Hondas with plenty of brake pad left on both.

Dang, Kevin. You better get rid of those and get some softer pads. Those are lasting way too long .

My rear pads wear much faster than my fronts. I have plenty of meat on the front with over 15,000 miles on them. I have a Speedmaster though and I think that has something to do with it since I have twice the breaking surface of an America. I use my front and rear together when stopping but when following Wendy I tend to just tap the rear to bleed off a little speed when needed so I stay with her and not pass her. I don't know if that is of any help to you or not but there it is and I seem to wear mine faster too.

I have a Speedmaster too, as does Kevin. I had to replace my fronts at 15,000. The OEM rears lasted 5,000 . The EBCs that I replaced them with lasted to 21,000. I ride fairly aggressively and brake accordingly .
