sitting high up on the hill above turn 1 & 2 under a shady bit offered by someone else's pop-up watching the AHMA bike races when we hear the announcer (faintly over the exhaust bark ) going on and on about Dr. Tom and his 6 cylinder Honda that's leading this race when...Dr. Tom's 6 cylinder Honda is passed by a Triumph triple. Then we realize that the Triumph started in the second group and has passed everyone in the first group not only leading his engine group but blowing away the entire field and passsing the lead group as well. And then the rider put the ponies to it and just flew away. Only on a Triumph! (It was great )

Big deal.... if Dr. Tom had been on a Victory, he'd have eaten that Triumph for lunch!!!

On the other hand, Victory is an infant company with no historical significance so it wouldn't have qualified for the American Historical Motorcycle races to begin with, not to mention it's way over the displacement category.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that Victory won't fit where I want you to park it

Triumph is one of the most underrated brands around, even when they blow away everyone else, it seems that they still don't get the credit they deserve.
