Riding my mountain bike to pick up some Mongolian chow I couldn't believe my eyes. I saw a Hardley Davidsin labeled building. Does Cocoa Beach really have a Milwaukee motorsickle shop now? This if true is real small and is located south and west of those two hippy's surf shop: Ron & Jon. It occupies the old Subway shop. Pictures to follow.
Okay. I found a link.

Per the Space Coast Harley-Davidson website:
NEW BEACH-SIDE LOCATION...NOW OPEN
COCOA BEACH HARLEY-DAVIDSON
3688 N. ATLANTIC AVE.
COCOA BEACH, FL
321-799-2221
HOURS: MONDAY THRU SAT: 11-7 ~ SUN: 11-6
EMAIL: INFO@CocoaBeachHarley.COM

"The store will offer motor clothes and license merchandise," said Darby Koller, marketing and promotions manager for Space Coast Harley-Davidson. "It's a smaller shop that will cater to the tourism of Cocoa Beach.
"It's a good addition for us. It's a major way to get our logo and name out."

I am going to puke.

That's nothing new. There's one in the Bahamas that only sells the labeled crap -no bikes.

Sounds like the bow-t-q's at Didney Woild and the Honolulu Hilton Complex. A couple of non-functional bikes and oceans of overpriced 'lifestyle accessories'.

You are the man MOE, go for it and spread the word about our love of British bikes like the America and Speedmaster that we ride and enjoy.. Every little bit helps to promote Triumph and the people who ride and love them.... You go!!!!

I would love to see Triumph develop brand loyalty like that. It seems we've achieved cult status. But the most recognized tatoo in the universe, (a registered trademark), mindboggling. Really gotta mand it to those guys.

It's just a tourist trap HD boutique shop. The interesting thing is that the build is owned by the same blok that owns the restuarant/bar next door "Legends", who happens to be (or was) the lead singer for "Flock of Seagulls". He just leases the HD boutique building to Space Coast HD.

I was in a Nordstrom department store in San Diego, a couple of days ago and as I walked through the boys section there was a blue and white long sleeve tee-shirt with "Triumph world wide race team" on the front in big letter. The current "Triumph" logo was used so it had to be Triumph motorcycles. They wanted $35.00 for the shirt.

I've been to that little "surf shack"...fitting place to plop down a poser t-shirt store.

What's funny is Ron Jons really was a little tiny surf shop way back when. I used to by wax for my board there! Now it's a two/three block two story, soul-less behemoth.

I was thinking "supermarket". Yeah, I really haven't surfed for a few decades, but I'm still a sucker for the one-off shacks. I should have known but was just a touch disappointed when I saw the building. I guess you don't get all those stickers out there with a shack.
It appears I like my bike shops to be similar to my surf shops - a touch dirty and not terribly organized, but with some personality and soul.

I guess that's starting to catch on. Several years ago, they opened the Hollywood HD store with no bikes for sale and not even any bike parking for customers.

I can't imagine why they would need bike parking.
