So, my 04 Speedmaster is ALMOST complete! Only things left are to recieve my cables back from motion pro and cover most of the exhaust with black wrap. This is what I have done...
BA spoke rims, 14 in apes, solo seat w/springs, no front fender, bobbed rear fender, lowered rear, fork gaitors. Lower forks, tins and tank flat black, & kuryakyn pegs...I love it!

Lookin' good. Good thing you have a tough butt with those struts...

The guts under the seat are still there. Ive got K&N pods coming for it, so then it will clean up. The ride really isnt too bad (I say this loosely) with the fixed struts since I have the springs under the seat. All in all not bad until I hit that infamous 3 inch pot hole and it trys to throw me off the bike.

Looks good jeff...I normally dont recommend it to alot to people but if you relocated the battery and left the underseat opened up, it would really set off that solo seat and overall look very nicely. You just gotta find a good way to hide all the wiring harnesses.

Nice looking Bike Jeff. Now I know why you didn't need your front fender anymore. The front end looks good with no fender and the black out treatment on the fork legs. Nice! I am going for a slightly different look on my America which has Short TORS, T-100 sprocket cover, fork shrouds and passenger seat removed, and now with your help speedmaster front fender. Good luck with your project.

Oh Yeah! No words necessary. Looks like it should have a gun holster mounted somewhere on it.

Thanks!!! Paint is dupont flat black, cant think of the paint code off the top of my head. EVERYTHING that is flat was painted with that. I do plan on opening up the underseat, but that may be this winter. Bike actually rides ok with the springs under the seat, BUT it is a brick with the fixed struts on it. Was looking at some slim line airride shocks last night online. Maybe I can fab them up ( they are smaller than the struts I have on there now). ChopperPaul, where should I put the holster? Too bad were not closer, we could go let those V twin boys have it one night!

I have had my fair share of Vtwin's, but I'd rather take the Triumph out to the local hooters bike night just to be the only one there with an original bike...I have NOTHING against a harley or any other bike,(anyone on 2 wheels is alright in my book!) but in a military town, you cant ride a city block without seeing the same bike with the same accessories only a different rider!
Dare to be different-it strikes up great conversations!
That OCC bike is bad a$$! I am curious how my ex got a picture on it though?

I give you six months with no shocks. Then you will buy some good shocks.Looks cool though.Stock shock are almost like a hardtail so maybe it's not that bad.If you don't put a lot of miles on it maybe you can put up with it.Great looking bike, good luck on your project.
