I recently bought this jacket on EBay.. Here's the auction link: http://cgi.ebay.com/?ViewItem&item=270172969387 Jacket looks awesome and is only $215 plus shipping. It is custom made according to my specs (I picked standard specs) and has all of the normal acoutrements you would expect from the $420+ ones in the dealership showrooms. It took them about three days to get it made. I mentioned to the dealer in am email that I thought it was a very good turnaround time. He replied that they have lots of designers and stichers on staff and can turn these custom jackets around very quickly. So far the seller has been very responsive. Here's the strange part, The seller lists the item's location as Ontario Canada (which is probably where he is), but according to FedEx, it is being shipped from "KARACHI PK". Yes, that is Karachi Pakistan! The FedEx tracking shows it having traveled from Karachi through Dubai and Paris to Memphis. It is currently in Memphis, but is supposed to be delivered to me in Colorado by tomorrow. I'll post more when I know more. Oh! Here is a screen shot from the FedEx tracking page... PS. I forgot to mention that shipping is $50. Substantial, but the overall cost is still well under $300. Awesome for a custom made jacket. Another thing I have wondered is, if they can make it without the Shell or Arai logos. I didn't specify that and mine is coming with them, but I was just wondering aloud. Update:I asked the seller and learned a little more. They have a website here... http://www.daytonabikerwearco.com/about.htm(annoying flash-based website with the same rock and roll lick playing in a loop... constantly) Where they have a few different styles of Triumph jackets, as well as other bike brands. Turns out they sell the same jacket for $199 on their website, so I overpaid by $15. poo. I just spoke to FedEx and the package was delayed in customs because it was marked as a "gift" and valued at $20. I guess this made the customs officials suspicious so they delayed it a bit. FedEx says it has now cleared customs and should be here tomorrow.

Darndest thing, I never knew kangaroos were made of plastic. PS, I sure hope it fit's I've heard the return lines are very looooooooooooooooong.

I have no idea what that means, but now I am even more interested in examining it when it arrives!
He came up and asked, "What are you riding?" I looked at him and said, "Triumph Bonneville America" and he got that 'hellz yeah' look in his eye.

The guy that works for me has one and likes it alot, says its holding up reasonably well, his only complaint is that he can't tighten up the cuffs enough.

Click on the "Custom Orders" link. They say they'll make anything. Design your own and have a one-of-a-kind.
Might want to wait until I get mine though and make sure it isn't made out of radioactive eight-legged newt leather from Chernobyl... or something.

I just turned down my speakers.
Actually I have a little switch box on my desktop that I can use to switch between my headset and desktop speakers. If I run into a website that has annoying sound, I usually just switch to the headset setting so I can't hear it. If I am wearing the headset, I just turn down the volume via a little inline volume control.
Here is the headset/speaker box to which I refer.
And where to buy them. http://tinyurl.com/2zuhex
By the way, the jacket is still on clearance hold in the US Customs office. Aparrently the shipper marked it as a gift and put a value on it of $20. Customs isn't buying it. They want a real value listed on it.
It's a drama.

The jacket just arrived. Customs cleared it last night and FedEx flew it here overnight. It looks exactly as it does in the picture. It has nice leather that feels soft and thick. It has the normal plastic armor in it in the normal places. The zipper is smooth and easy to engage, but for some reason is backward; woman-style, with the zipper tab on the left side, rather than on the right. ... And I checked. There is no zippered pocket in the sleeve. There is a zippered pocket inside the jacket on the left, that has nothing in it, and there is a leather-rimmed pocket inside on the right side that also has nothing in it. Inside the sleeves there is a velcro enclosed pocket that holds the elbow armor, but nothing else. The jacket has a non-removable, black, quilted liner that is insulated with Thinsulate. All in all it is every bit as good as its $500 counterparts in the motorcycle shops. I recommend it highly if you want a custom made jacket for half of the cost of an off-the-rack one from the dealer showroom, and can wait a couple of weeks to get it delivered.

It's not womanly.....it's European!
Most triumph jackets zip the same way.
As for the inside zippers, they're probably there for access to sew the patches and embroidery on.

Erm no.
My bloke's jackets have zippers that do up the others way to my girlie jackets.

Dang man I bet Customs took that little suprise. Man you can't trust anyone these days. Too bad you would have truly enjoyed it.

I have a number of European sourced jackets, and they almost all zip opposite(wrong side) of the USA mens jackets.
