I have some Drag Specialties turn signals (indicators) I got as a gift. They are a single wire and wont turn on unless the ground wire from the bike touches the blinker body. I assume that means there is no ground in the circuit.
Is there a way to make these single wire blinkers work on the two wire system?

So the body of the DS light is the ground, meant to be mounted on a metal surface to pick up the bike's ground through the frame. LED or incandescent? If the latter you can swap for a two circuit lamp holder, otherwise you're holding a dedicated single circuit lamp. Most likely you could make it work on a two circuit by putting a couple of blocking diodes in line to keep the two-circuit lines isolated...that's more up Sandman or Phils' alley than mine...

It is incandescent. Problem is, the fenders are all plastic. Seems only the frame is grounded.
Another problem is the whole assembly is sealed, so I cannot get to the bulb. Sounds like they are paperweights...

Got a pic? and if they are going on the back, that fender is metal.

How about a ring terminal and add a ground wire?

Who told you that? My rear fender's metal, and my kuryakyn turn signals are grounded through it. If you're sticking the on the front fender use a crimp on terminal to attach a wire to the mounting bolt and wire it up to somewhere earth-ish.

Thanks guys.
As for the plastic fenders comment- I've hacked away on my front fender and just tapping on the back- it sounded plastic. I made an assumption it was too.

If they are going on the back you are good to go!
