Looking to find out of anyone has Carlini Dragbars installed on their Triumph America.I was initially leaning towards the ape hangers but after riding a bike with ape hangers I feel they are not for me.

Specifically interested in the bar(link pasted below):

http://www.carlinidesign.com/flash_content/carlinidesign.html

Just looking for someone to comment if these bars will fit Triumph, I've measured the center of Triumph and it's 3½" these bars come in 1½" and 1 1/4" in diameter compared to the 1" diameter of the stock Triumph bar.

Any suggestions/opinions would be much appreciated.

First, I gotta say the Carlini site is SLICK. Nice Flash animation.

The bars themselves look pretty cool, both on their site an in the pic. How miserable is it to run all the cables internally? It really cleans up the front of the bike. Wow.

Hey Jaeger... there's a write-up on my site about wiring your bars internally. It's done with standard bars so there's bits you wouldn't need with the carlini ones, but it gives you a pretty good idea how much drama it can be.

From my understanding (haven't done it myself yet) if you're handy with a soldering iron and you've got some patience it shouldn't be too hard, given that the carlini bars are already drilled.

Tomstrump - I believe the ones tsalagi has are the Carlini super sweep with 8.5 inches pullback, 9 inch rise and 30.5 inches wide.
