Just wondering how serious the cops are taking the new stock pipe law there in Denver? Anyone get busted yet?

Not talking about just the fine upstanding law abiding citizens of Denver that bless us with their presence on this fine message board for outstanding motorcycles. But all the other hooligans and social miscreants in the mile high city as well.

I haven't heard anything yet about scores of people being nabbed because of loud pipes. I live north of Denver and have not ridden into the city too much. Went to this month's RAT meeting and there wasn't any mention of it (although it was a HUGE discussion topic a couple of months ago when they first announced the new "law").

So I'd have to say, so far, so good.

I live downtown, I've rode by bunches of cops with my D&D's and never got so much as a glance. In fact, I've never heard of anyone getting ticketed.

I remember speaking to one officer and him telling me that the law was for enforcement in select areas, i.e. neighborhoods where there were complaints. I was a little worried because my friendly local HA clubhouse is six blocks from my house, and I figured the police would be much more willing to pick on me than a platoon of 1% er's, but so far, so good.
