Game 2 NLDS D-backs 8. Cubs 4. Long suffering Cubs fans slit wrists en masse in anticipation of another lackluster playoff exit.  Cubs fans. sorry could not resist. It must be hard to be a Chicago Cubs fan.

I suffered with the Red Sox for the first 44 years of my life and when they finally won in 2004 It was a huge relief. Now when the playoffs come I just recall 2004 and a smile comes to my face. Beating the Yankees and St. Louis in 2004 erases "86"(Buckner). "78"(Dent) and "67" (Loss to St. Louisin WS)losses. I feel bad for the Cubs fans. Maybe if they just sacraficed a goat or 2 it would break their curse. Their day will come but I hope it's not at the expense of the Red Sox. I'd love to see them beat the Yankees in the World Series.

well....The D-backs still need to win one more. So who knows I may have the cart before the horse. But...history and the Cubbies do not support that.

And so it goes. This will be an interesting series between the D-Backs and the Rockies.
A team that has been red hot as of late and the D-backs who seem to have found their playoff stride and have homefield advantage.
I am still hoping that Cleveland will hang on against the hated NY Jankees,

my favorite part of seeing the cubs make the playoffs is watching the fans cry when its all over. it makes the horrible season we had here in st. louis seem a little better when our arch rivals extend their streak of sucking.   here's to 100 more years!!!

And at least this year they dont have a goat, black cat, or Steve Bartman to blame. Only Pinella for pulling Zambrano after 85 pitches.

HOORAH Rockies!! It'll be a chilly day in our household if the Sox pull it off (not looking so good right now) and go up against the Rockies, but my wife will get over it....
