Anybody use these:

I want something that doesn't look so out of place as the stock mirrors and that will lower the profile of the bike a little bit. I would prefer not to do this at the sacrifice of safety though. Any other ideas for more classic looking mirrors with a lower profile then stock?

I've had them on for about 2 1/2 years now and once I got used to them they were fine.
Smaller "picture" than the round ones and a lot smaller than the Yamaha mirrors that a lot of folks are using.
Neat feature is they have a small hood on the top that kind of sets them off.
Very well made and chrome is A-1

I did not like them on the stock bars as I had to move my arms out of the way to get a good sight picture. With the buckhorns, they are very nice. I am on my second set as the first pair started corroding on the front sides, even with proper care. This pair appears to be doing the same although with aggressive polishing, I have managed to keep them looking pretty good.

Do they vibrate much? Are they better than the Kury's?

They are not too bad but I just have them stuffed into the mirror 'pockets' with some washers under them. When I had them on the stock bars, I used a whole stack of washers so the butt ends were flush with the control housing to get them up a higher.

I would imagine those adapters Bret sells might do the trick though. Hmmmmmm....

Check out Harley teardrop mirrors. They come in tall and short reach, black or chrome, full teardrop or flat side. These are the best looking fully functional, standard control mount mirrors you can get. They're a bit pricey (about $80) but you'll see everything behind you w/ no vibes and more importantly, You'll look fantastic.

I used mirrors off of a HD Night Train.

I use them. I have had them on for about 1000miles on small drag bars. They work real good. Easy install, too

Nuthin, I really like those. Did you have to use mirror adaptors (like the ones Brent sells), or were they a straight-up trade?

I just threw some washers on there and bolted them on, but they would look much better with Brent's adaptors. I'll be purchasing the adaptors soon. The only problem with the Harley mirrors is my bike now handles like crap, leaks oil, and will only start if I'm wearing HD branded pants, shirt, doo rag, and underwear!

Mine are corroding, just like the Administrator says. Bought them in May '07 or so.
