Anyone know if the actual brackets (the part that you attach to your saddlebag) on Easy Brackets is the same for all bikes? Is it just the bolts that are different? I have the bolts and saw an ad on Ebay for just the bracket part for a Honda Aero. Just wondering if I can make it work.

I would think they are bike specific. The ez bracket bolts replace the stock fender bolts and I imagine that most fenders and fender struts are different from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The last time I needed an Easy Brackets question I got a reply from this guy:
David Havens [davidhavens@sbcglobal.net]
You might want to direct your questions to him.
At first I thought they might all be the same but, the spacing for the bolts have to match up to the spacing on the bikes.....they are probably different.
He should know.

Yeah...what Stewy said.....

Yeah, you're probably right. Is David a member of this site Tony?

The fender rail bolts dictate the actual bracket. Therefore NO they are not the same for all bikes. Although they may be the same for certain models.

Is the distance between the fender rail bolts the only factor or is there something else I'm missing?

The distance between the fender rail bolts in not the only factor as the actual fender rail's slope back from the saddle comes into play too. Thus the two bolt sets needed on our sickles vis-a-vis the L-bracket and bare rail configurations.
