I like the looks of the BB Reproduction Hardbags. Anyone here have them? Before I lay out the cash, what's the quality and fit like?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....some people hate the looks, I kinda like em. Had mine for a year now. Takes about 15 minutes to install. The brackets are super sturdy, but turn into weapons if you take the bags off.....but for washing the bike, you can take the bags off in a few seconds which is handy....

Jeff, is that a Corbin seat? And what's the fender rack? I'm going to settling mine up as a solo (the SM passenger seat is about worthless anyway) and looking at ideas. (Not the BB bags though )

Hotdog Loco! That looks like my bike with the hardbags photoshopped. Naturally, I'm going to say nice looking bike. Thanks for the info and picture.
I have the same seat and backrest and consider them a neccessity.

I have the BB bags The quaulity is excellent. Very sturdy. I figure you could put 100 lbs in them if you had to HAHA. They are easy to install and take off to wash. But if you have a desire to take them off and run without the bags at times you will leave behind a BIG bracket that holds the bags. So they are only for people who want to always have them on.
2003 Red and Black Speedy. What do I want to change on my bike next????

Hey Bill - it's a Corbin and the rack is the Triumph one. I like (cheaper) Sportster racks better, the ones that Brent sells, but I bought mine with the bike and hadn't done my homework. I will say that the Triumph rack does match the lines of the bags pretty well tho......

Those are great-looking bags. Can they be mounted with Easy Brackets?

I would guess that you could, but the brackets BB sells will support the bags much better....they have 4 points of support, 2 at the top, one at the bottom rear and one in front, which is very sturdy. All of these mounting points are on a steel band that surrounds the bag. The easy brackets would put lots of stress on the back wall of the bags, which is plastic.....just my 2 cents...

I'm going to pony-up and get a pair. Hopefully, the wife won't ask any questions about the cost.
