Oct 7 (Sunday) European Motorcycle Day
9:00 to 4:00
Larz Anderson Auto Museum
15 Newton Street Brookline MA 02445

It is the invasion of the Euro riders from ten states
headed into the Larz Anderson Classic European Motorcycle Day in Brookline,
Massachusetts.
The "Classic" is the region’s largest and most prestigious
rider sponsored motorcycle event, now in its 15th year.
We feature an all- European bike show and concourse judging, raffles, swap meet, displays, and an
all around noisy good time.
Bring the kids. Bring the dog. See nearly a century of European motorcycles and over a decade of celebrating them at Larz Anderson Park.

Begins at 9:00 this show is
open to motorcycles produced in Europe. Registration is $10.00.

Who's in?

This is always a great show. Even the rain, which has in the past plagued the event, can only dampen an experience that is, on a sunny day, nothing short of spectacular.
The location is incredible, the show bikes are an eclectic group of top notch machines from all over. My late brother and I attended this event every year. The trophies we received there are some I'm most proud of (this truely is a prestigeous show).
Let's pray for nice weather. I'll be heading in (via rt 9 east) early sunday morning, anyone who wants to meet up, PM me.
Paul

I'll probably enter my Norton and my speedmaster (maybe in customs). I'm already giddy with anticipation.

I'm in, I might have my bike by then, but if not I'm am gonna bring my dogs like the thing says. I'm sure they didn't have me in mind when they wrote that

Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

And then there were 5 plus maybe 2 dogs that would be seen as bears by someone with poor vision and Uncle Charlie's Hmmmmmm.....

I'll probably ride in via the VFW Parkway Way, coming in through Dedham, but I'm flexible....

Paul- do you know of a Dunkin Donuts somewhere near the Larz Anderson Park we we might all meet up? I know of some spots in the Dedham area off of 128, but if you're coming in from Rte 9...

Although I can walk to Larz Anderson, I am still going to ride over! There is a Dunkin Donuts on Route Nine, 1/2 mile past the Brookline VW dealer. If folks wanted to meet there, I know a shortcut over to the park.

Extended forcast for this weekend looks fantastic! I may even bring my Fat Boy to saturday's american classic. Not recommended for most on this site. Kinda like a homophobe wandering into a Liza Minelli fan club meeting. You know, just wait 'till sunday.
