There are links or pics in the tech vault- at least one or two have done it, but I believe it requires a little modding - maybe some grinding?

Search for t100 Eddy and just in the Vault. Make sure you change the date range (I always use 404). btw, I had to fix the pic links in there for this post. Looks like there are more far reaching issues with the new Photo Post Here's the direct link: http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...true#Post130502

i have a t100 cover on Blue. the only thing i had to do was use a few longer bolts and make certain not to pinch the wires. i apologize, off hand, i don't remember the bolt length on the two or three bolts i had to change.

Ditto to what Mert said..... HI MERT! Eddy - Since you are riding down to cities this week (right?) you can have a first hand look at the cover!

Now that the current models have a smooth cover, why not just order the new cover which is a direct replacement bolts and all?

I had one on my bike for a while. You have to grind about a 1/4 inch off one spot (Bottom Left) and replace to of the bolts with 75mm bolts available from brent or Triumph. I recently sold it and bought the 2007 chrome sproket cover which I like better.

No mods needed here either. Don't recall whether I used longer bolts or not.

I like the look of those covers on the new models. I need to see how much I will get gouged for one of those.

A matter of taste. To me, the T100 part looks more Triumphy.
To those who didn't have to mod their T100 cover - Are you sure it's clearing the frame? Mine appeared to fit ok with no mods, but actually did interfere.

I definitely had to snip mine. Took all of 4 minutes with a dremel cutoff wheel... No biggie. I also wonder if those who didn't need mods are actually fitting correctly.

Well I figured there's one of two things going on. Maybe both Either some are bolted on and there's actually a little gap in there somewhere so it's not quite seated, but still on firmyl because the bolts are all in, OR there's actually enough variances in the welds of the frame that some fit and some don't...

I think the deal is......there are 2 variations of bonny covers out there. Mine is uncut, un-modified and it seals better than the original. The original used to seep oil from the chain out the front bottom corner....The T100 has no leaks......I've had both covers on and off several times......it fits good.

Phil,
Please help me here, other than remembering George Foreman being a boxer (Ali bomaye! ), what is a GF sprocket cover? If that's another name for the T-100 sprocket cover then yes ... it is. The bike is, however, filthy!

T-man, the ribbed sprocket covers on the '02-'06 BAs and Speedies have become known as the George Foreman Grills because the Ex-Heavyweight Champion has, in the past decade or so, been promoting these electric counter-top cooking grills which have their top and bottom Teflon cooking surfaces ribbed and look similar to our bikes sprocket cover. So no, the T-100 covers are not "Foreman-esque".
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

And to think I don't drink ... imagine what would happen if I did You are right and are not seeing things. I had changed both engine and sprocket covers but switched back to original (black SM) sprocket cover before my trip and completely forgot about it. It would help if I paid attention to the picture I posted. I'll see if I can find one with the T-100 cover.

It is not a "direct" bolt on....a longer bolt here or there and a small amt of grinding and it fits fine..I put one on mine and it enhanced the looks immensley

Another option is to get a spocket cover from an '07 America. It is smooth.

Yea what Hill said. I just had to grind a little metal off and I ordered the bolts for the T100 and it bolted right up. It definitely looks better than the George Foreman Grill aparatus that they came with, even the chrome one doesn't do the bike justice. You will be happy installing one of these covers.

 Here's mine.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

If it's the smooth cover you're looking for. I know Hermy's (google it) sells the new smooth cover for $96.00 Cheaper than the Foreman grill, and no mods needed like the T-100. I have to admit that the T-100 cover looks pretty darn ggod, though!
