95% & 100% I couldn't be arsed to wait either - I think I would have got less if I HAD waited! Not sure if this works, but here's my results.

83% and 75%, but then I'm riddled with A.D.D. Another factor is back when I was a young, single sailor nobody told me I was going to need those brain cells I was killing off when I got to be this age.

Now I'm worried. Scored the same as Dog33. I didn't sleep at all this past Thursday night or Saturday night, slept 13 hours Sunday (road trip to see son get married, drove all night, wedding cancelled when I got there).

100% and 100% - not bad for just getting off a 13 hour workday!
Of course I still remember my first girlfriends phone number and I could probably tell you without looking the social security numbers of a couple of my soldiers...but before leaving work, my buddy asked me what we did last Wednesday, and I didn't have a CLUE! Hmm and did I have breakfast today...???

Faces I remember, the NAMES that go with them though, ummm, not so much!! I'll come up to someone I see at work every day, and just as I get within distance to say "Hi" or whatever, their name flies right out of my head!!!

That's because noticing faces and remembering them is hard-coded into our brains and develops before birth. It's the first thing babies look for and is a fascination that stays with us all our lives. Names however are part of the speech and language centres of the brain which don't really start developing till after birth, take longer to do it (we're still learning our native language in our teens and twenties! The greatest part of language skills are learned by age 12 or so though.), and have a lower priority.
It's all to do with recognising your parents and other people who a baby is "safe" with. Part of the whole survival trait thing. (ie: survival traits are strongest - it's more important to our safety to recognise safe/unsafe people than it is to remember their names.) Best way to remember a name is when you're introduced to someone new, look at their face and use their name in conversation 4 or 5 times.
See, those 4 1/2 years doing psych at uni weren't a complete waste. Oh and I got 91% and 72% FYI.
