2 years in jail is a bit steep though.

Two years is nothing for someone that would commit such a violent and grotesque act. Especialy in a public place.

First ducks, then cats, dogs...and eventually people.

This guy is clearly disturbed.

I was stationed at an RAF base in the '80's. There were ducks on the base that apparently belonged to the Queen. We were told you would get into less trouble if you hit a person than if you hit the ducks.

Wait, they didn't say anything about his middle name being "Wayne."

Hehe... $400 a duck... I hope they crisp up nicely for that money.

The ducks are only the queens if on her land... a large part of land near me is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall (Prince Charles)... it's illegal to shoot the ducks on his land, but the river Mersey runs next to it, so if you are in a boat and shoot them it's ok.

True, they should find a giant duck to rip his head off instead of wasting all that money.

If he had gotten past the lobby to the resturant, he might have found duck on the menu. I like my steak rare, but duck has to be extra cripsy.

Good point.

Im not saying the guy should babysit my kids, but theres people out there committing much worse crimes and getting less than 2 years for it. The guys a violent drunk, you think prisons gonna make him a better person?

Of course he probably wont get 2 years in the end, but i think its absurd to even contemplate that kind of time over a duck.

If he'd done it on stage he'd have easily gotten away with it. On the other hand, I've removed the heads of quite a few chickens with a cleaver, would that get me in trouble?

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

LOL the chickens, I remember my grandmother cutting the heads off chickens. It was a riot she actually used ti tie their wings behind their backs. It was comical to see. She did it to lessen the flopping around after the act but funny to see none the less.
And we used to grab geese by the neck with the back of the head against the palm and fling em around to break their necks before butchering them. I guess when you grew up on a farm the act doesn't seem so bad since it was something you saw and did all the time for food or to earn money.

NO!!! It's WABBIT SEASON!!!

(just another reason to throw this mental-case into the clink and/or mental health facility of your choice for a long long time, so the shrinks can take this wackjob's brain out of his friggin' head and see what's wrong with this guy!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

In these days when convicted child molestors get "time served" or probation, I cannot get worked up about a stoopid, idiotic drunk guy killing a duck. And two years is really excessive IMO.

Since he says "its just a duck" and he seems to have this pent up aggression, instead of 2 years in jail--give him 2 years in Iraq. Maybe he'll get lucky and step on a "quacker"

GO NAVY!!
