That's what tyres Triumph put on the speedy as standard so they must match and I have them on my America wheels and also came on the Speedmaster wheels. I like them, seem to handle very well in the wet and wear is minimal.
But each to their own I guess

The ME 880 and the Lazertec are both bias ply tires. The MEZ2 that comes on the T 100 rear is indeed a steel belted radial and is run with the bias ply Lazertec at the front..from the factory.

I don't know if you mean pull the wheels off the bike or the tires off the rims. If you mean removing the tires from the rims: if you have the equipment, it's easy. If you don't have them, well......
I figure you mean removing the wheels from the bike, right?
I've been contemplating buying tire changing equipment now that we have two bikes but after asking Pure Triumph what it would cost to swap a tire with me bringing in the wheel and new tire ($30), I decided to just let them do it.
If you bring in the bike, they will have to pull the wheel so that's gonna cost ya. Find out pricing if you bring in the wheel and new tire before you decide what to do. With a good jack, pulling either wheel is very easy.
When you get ready, post again and we'll walk you through it!!

I bought 3 flat prybars on the cheap. I used to change the tires on my dirtbike and streetbikes are not so different. You just need to take your time so you don't scratch the rim or cut the tube. Also you may need to get a little creative to bust the bead from the rim.
I mounted my own rear tire this season and all I had to pay was about $5 to get it balanced before I re-installed it.

Does anyone have any knowledge or opinions on the appropriateness of running radials vs. bias ply tires on the SM or America? I'm interested in safety, performance, and milage info. Thanks
