Since all indications are the new models will be fuel injected, what effect will that have on performance modifications? Will it be like the Suzuki sport bikes where you need a laptop and the right program to change settings for different exhaust etc.. I personally like the color of the Blue on Blue America that was posted on a different thread, although I wish it still had the old tank, but none the less I like it. Anybody know what we'll have to do to make mods on the new models if you get one? Thanks for your thoughts.

All good questions. Ones that imagine will have to be answered after people start to mod '08 models. I am guessing that we wil lhave to have the right program on a laptop to re-map teh computers for fuel injection after making major mods.

When my Victory riding friend changed his pipes, he had to buy a new computer chip also.

Your dealership can download different tunes into the ECU's to compensate for add ons or mods. I'm sure someone will write a program for the twins.. Power Commander probably, I know they have one for the Rocket.

It will be the same as every other Triumph product. You can have basic mapping changed by a dealer, or drop the bucks for Tune boy, or one of the other PC based aftermarket tuning software packages.

The injection system is top notch, with o2 sensors, a real TPS, oil temp sensor, Map and MAT sensors, and of course, programable ECU.
