Count me in. Will need to be back in Spartanburg Wed PM 9/26 but I can split early to do that. Even willing to consider an early AM start from the Chevron in Dahlonega on Sunday. Awaiting details from you. SteveB

Let me know your turn around point and I'll try to meet you there. Lots of scoots will still be in the area from Saturday's "Taril of Tears" annual run originating in Chattanooga.

Man, if it's close to that route there are a dozen spots I could hook up at...

Ed, I tried to follow Chy's I have a Dream post re his route. Some quirky turns but I think I caught the gist of it. Like Mark eluded to, the route is a bit twisty! My arms hurt already!

Right now it's a "maybe" for me...depends on the particulars...Will try to convince Kimmy to get her spider web infested bike out...sux making payments on such a beautiful bike that does'nt see it's share of the road...I may ride hers instead of "frog"...it has over 21,000 miles on her now, in just over a year and a half...tires are getting close....again, and will probably need brakes and another oil change, but I can do that...

I'm plotting my intercept point today...It's going to be dual run weekend with the "Trail of Tears" tomorrow and Chy's Dream run on Sunday...life is good.

I just saw this. Hey man, my parents live across the river from PI. My Grandmother is regular Army and does all of her shopping in their Commissary and PX. She gets to park in the fancy spots labeled, "Flag Officer/General". She used to take me there as a child so that I could watch the DI's and the boots salute our car. Good luck and congrats to your boy. You will not recognize him. Semper Fi.

Up around the north end, there should be some kind of information center so that will probably be the spot.

Ed, you are the new "Rock of Chickamauga". Thanks to all for having me around for a few hours. Special thanks to Gordon for keeping me hidden at the Raj Mahal until it was time to spring my surprise at the Chevron. I should have known Di was too smart for us.
Rolled in the garage around 2AM this morning. I figure that is something like 700 or 800 on the day. Would have rather stuck around and said a proper hello to hwy. 60.
I'll be back before May.
Thanks again all. I needed that.
Ryan
