Somehow and I don't know how, my seat cover has torn from the front to the back along where the seat cover goes over the "sharp" plastic saddle support. I have duck taped it for now.
I have a new leather Corbin Seat on order.

For a couple bucks you can go to Wal-Mart and get a yard of black vinyl cloth. I recovered my ZR-7S seat that way. Took about a half an hour.

Thanks for the suggestion, but now I have my justification to get a Corbin Seat.

You'll never go back once you've ridden on it.

If it's a small rip and not in a high stress area, the vinyl repair kits you can get in most autoparts shops will do a decent job of fixing it.
