I am interested in getting the Specialty Spares for my 2003 Speedmaster.
Does anyone have a sound file or a comment on how these pipes sound?
Thanks.

I have SS long cannons on my America and love the sound/look/finish. I have a sound clip I can email if interested and there is a very good video here:

The only thing to take note of in that video of my bike is that it was before I tuned my carbs right. You will notice there is some popping on decel - I have virtually none of that now. Also, those are completely stock SS pipes, before I modified them. And yes, they sound great stock or modified!

Modified?

Well, if they are not loud enough for you, check out the link on my site (linked above) - it's quite easy to pull the baffles and remove any amount of the fiberglass you want (about 75% in my case). They pipes are quite tunable to the sound you want. It took less than an hour to get the sound I wanted. I wanted them louder, and they absolutely rip now. All the biker guys at my work (lots of them) can't believe how good it sounds.

Thanks, Those pipes really sound like what I want.
What main jets do you need with the SS08 and the AI removal?

Specialty Spares supplied me with 132.5/45 jets which seem to work great at my altitude in MD (just above sea level).
