Gyroscopic advantage with keeping the RPMs up and keeping your head exactly over the center of gravity. They all learn that in motor school. Cool stuff, good post.

Very impressive, glad to see a couple errors, proves they are human.

Geez thats good control & your'e dead right Saxtron - always keep your head over the centre of Gravity, and your body loose - it's not that easy to do but once you've got it control comes naturally

I always see those things and they are on Harleys...I wonder if they can do that on the newer bikes like the Hondas?
Impressive none the less!

Seems Harley is a hinderence since those things scrape the ground when you are just thinking of turning. Many times over the years my friends on HD have said they couldn't keep up because they would scrape in the corners. And I don't mean a little pipe scrape I mean full on primary case scrape.

I'd love to see that in person, those guys are good! The Honda VTX's will scrape a bit before the Harleys, but the Yamaha VStars with floorboards will scrape way before that! Dont' now about the big Yamahas tho. And of course the Goldwings would breeze right thru that as well.. the sport tourers shouldnt' have any problem either... Ok... with those guys riding there wouldn't be any problem!.. me? I'd still be there trying to pick up my bike after the first turn! Mary

Makes me tired to think of wheeling a big Harley through that course. Good riding!
There were a bunch of cones set up at the local high school one sunday for some reason and I ran through them several times-and then looked up and saw some local cops running a speed trap across the street. They were grinning and laughing, I'm sure, at my timidity-I didn't want to drop the bike.
They ride BMW's now-like to see how they go through the course.

They were probaboy wondering weather to give you a ticket or just laugh it off at let you have fun. no true motorcycleist can resist the urg to danke the cones.

let me clarify...the Hondas Im talking about are the Sport Tour type...not the VTX type. We have a few BMWs (Sport Tour as well) around here too. Id love to get one of those guys and talk riding tips with em but every time I see them they are either giving a ticket out or are eyeballing me

Dammm they're good.
I have a few friends in the Police Department, one of them has conections with the Motorcycle Cop dept. I keep on at him to get me in on their training course. No luck yet. Been asking him now for close on five years. Im starting to think it isn't going to happen.
Sure would like to have a go though.
