Anyone heard anything on the new models? Other than the street triple. I don't care about nekkid sport bikes - i just wanna ride nekkid.
Chy ? Any insider info? If your dealer doesn't attend the meeting, can you go?

I seem to recollect a rumor of a 1500cc model but for the life of me, I cannot remember where i read it.

Maybe you should post about it?

I hear the new 1500 comes with Jaffa cakes but I would have to axe someone.

There are pix of it on the site already one of em made it to Austrailia as a warrenty replacement if I remember.

Here is what it looks like but not the bike I meant.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Other than the Street Triple, we probably won't hear about anything else until October from the dealer's conference.

If your dealer doesn't go, I think they have the option of sending someone else as a rep.

Personally, I am almost willing to bet that the "other" bike is the Rocket III Tourer. Unfortunately, Triumph's idea of a tourer is just hard saddle bags, windshield and single head light (no trunk, no queen seat, no full fairing with lots of gadgets).

Man they don't tell anybody anything until just before the press release. They like surprises.

And that little street triple is a very cool bike... light and quick.. a lot of fun to ride... a big thumbs up from me.

That was a 150CC. Just out, runs on stale beer and gets 1200 MPG.

I heard Triumph hired the guy that did the new Victory tourer and they are going to fix the Rocket right up. Just in time for Mardi Gras.

While I was getting gouged at my dealers saturday, I asked the parts guy about the new 1500... he just looked at me and asked "Are you a BA.Com memeber"?

They oughta make it shotgun proof for the ride down to then.

I don't even want to discuss it if that is it.

Maybe a Carmen Electra Ride? I love MCN, the humor is amusing. Most of their "spy shots" could be anything from a Vespa to a Peterbilt, and they'll call it what they want.

We've been holding out on a touring bike, waiting on my beloved Triumph to build a serious tourer. I don't want another forward control cruiser and I surely don't want to sit on " 'em boy and the twins" for hours, while supporting my enormous body with my wrists, elbows and shoulders. I want a Sho Nuff Touring Bike. I may just go ahead with a GoldWing or BMW LT or R1200CL. We've got places to go.

And you responded , "YOU'RE NOT?!?!?" He's an idiot, he knows nothing compared to a BAcom member.

My dealer sales dood said the new touring/cruiser was just a downsized R-3. That Triumph views the twins as a sideline for older customers and triples are the focus of the future. No more development on parallel twins. Go figure?
Triumph does hold their plans close to the vest compared to other builders, who can't wait to reveal their plans.
