272 - '56 F100
283 - '57 chev, '60 chev, '60 Chris Craft, '55 PU #1, '55 PU #2, '61 'vette

I had the Ford version of the El Camino, Ranchero, 1973. It had the 351 Cleveland. That car sounded and ran great. Wished i still had it.

Wendy would love that she is an ElCamino nut. 66 Impala SS convertable with Hurst 4 SPD and 427. 71 LeMans Sport 390 HP 400 took that same engine and put it in a 1985 Chevy pick up with a TH375 trans behind it and put in a 12 bolt 1 ton rear no longer remember the ratio but wasn't much on the street that could pass it!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Ratz, it's my luck to end up with stuff that won't match post counts like the 217.8 flathead in my '51 Plymouth.

I hope my post #2020 doesn't remind me of my MD2020 night. Luckily, I've got a looooong way to go before then.

An old friend has a Ranchero primed red and ratty looking with a 550hp 429 and NOS. Sick sleeper.

Funkletrumpet, everytime I hear someone say "El Camino", I think of the movie "the Mexican" with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. The scene at the car rental center is hilarious... ride safe...Gordon
