Stupid question, but here's my situation. I bought my 03 speedmaster used from dealer with no tool kit or owners manual. I've found the manual online, but no clue on the tool kit. Did this bike come with one? Obviously no place for one on the machine... I've got all the tools I would need for typical maintenance, except to adjust the rear shocks. Is there a specific tool for that?
Probably more stupid questions to come, sorry. I've searched first, but didn't find the answer.
I see a chrome bike and I want to paint it black.

There is no tool kit. I don't know if there are spanners available separately for adjusting shocks. Before I got my Progressive shocks (with the wrench) I used a very large set of channel locks and was very, very careful. But I pretty much jacked them all the way up and left them there.

No tool kits come with our bikes. I've ridden my '04 almost every day for three years and have not had occasion to need a tool kit. I keep all of my tools at home. That way, Harley riders can't borrow them!
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

Ok now I see how it is. Welcome the new guy by making him pee his pants. Nice, real nice.
My old Honda broke down about 2 monthes ago, actually the front break cylinder stuck open so the front pads over heated and locked up. I would have been fine except for the ****** Harleys driving by. One actually turned around to see if he could help, but I'll bet the others are still talking about the jap crap. Of course my Honda is 35 years old. I'd love to see their yuppy over priced fad bikes running 35 years from now.
Thanks guys for the quick replies.

the "tool kit" consisted of ONE allen wrench and it was a Speedmaster option only...if you look at the back side of your cover that surrounds the ignition key (left side cover ) you'll see a spot for it there...as far as the "shock wrench" there is such a thing and it's fairly reasonably priced (dealer) about $6.00 its kind of a odd half round hook like thing....to be honest its easier to grind the tip off a cheap #2 philips head screw driver and insert the now blunt tip...gives you more leverage and a comfy handle...

The only tool kit is an allan wrench under the side cover for removing the seat on a Speedmaster. No other tools come with the bike because it is very reliable and they are not needed.

Tool for adjusting stock shocks: 8 inch long, 1/4 diameter bolt. Cutoff bolt threads and smooth end. Works great and takes no space in bag, etc.
