This weekend must have been national "write about loud motorcycles in the paper" weekend. I guess with labor day, and the end of summer, coming up, some want to keep this fresh in everyone's minds.

I can think of several police departments that will use any law like that as an excuse to write wholesale tickets. The ones I speak of already tend to pick on bikes for any flimsy excuse they can find.

Denver, this spring, effectively outlawed all aftermarket pipes by requiring an EPA stamp on all MC exhaust systems-Police dont even need to use a decibel meter.

It's almost time to take up arms in revolution. Our government is doing everything they can to ruin the greatest country on earth. Every time some guy holds up in a building keeping cops at bay with an automatic weapon, I wonder what was the straw that broke the camel's back. Every man has a breaking point. Doesn't it seem like mine is rapidly approaching?

Pipe (noise) legislation should not be needed. 95%+ of the people in this world do not want to hear our pipes and they have every right to not hear them. And loud pipes and squids will, sooner rather than later, take 2 wheel vehicles off the road.

I think I have the right to ride my motorcycle without getting run off the road by some jacka$$ on four wheels who "didn't see me there" So as long as there are people who don't see me there I'll keep myself safe by making sure they hear me there.

Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

This is just one in a long line of new laws they have their panties all in a wad about. There's a bunch of momentum being built to completely outlaw sportbikes. The definition of sport bikes takes in a bunch of bikes. Its just another headline graber for the politicians. The motorcycle lobbist must not be kicking in the good perks. I guess sooner or later its gonna come down to the point when we will just have to kill ourselves. Living is far to dangerous.
