I have paint lifting around the filler neck on my tank. I am afraid that this paint will eventually fall in the tank and cause problems. If I install Brent's flush-mount cap, it should seal the neck and keep the paint from falling in, correct? I am assuming the opening is smaller with the flush-mount on. Is it any harder to see the level as you're filling?

I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger......and then it hit me. '05 BA - Mulberry/Graphite,128 mains,42 pilots,TBS needles,drilled slides,debaffled stock pipes,Uni,no snorkel

yes, it fits fine and will help with the paint issue. It is a bit harder to see into the tank though, but you get used to it after one or two fillups.
Go for it.
